Insurance/Appraisal Update?

I had my wife''s engagement ring appraised by Richard Sherwood in 2004 when I bought it and used the information when I insured it. Should the insurance value be updated every so often or is the fact that they (Chubb) have all of the appraisal report details good enough?

Richard Sherwood is great!!! I think that it is always a good idea to update every 3-4 years....

Yes you can get your appraisal updated every 3 to 4 years from what I understand, give Rich a call and he can advise further.
