Intoducing my diamond in its new home!

Woo-hoo! My reset is done! And I''m completely smitten. It''s a little too big and needs to be sized, but I told the jeweler I was taking it for the weekend and would bring it back, LOL.

The setting was custom made my a local jeweler based on a setting I found on Adwar.

The side view is quite unique and interesting. It looks like vines are reaching up and caressing the diamond, as if they are holding a precious flower bud. Enjoy your new ring!

You are so eloquent Rx! Thank you for the compliment. The side view is what drew me to the setting in the first place. It''s much more delicate in person too, which I love.

Thank you! Yeah, they did a really good job. The profile is so gorgeous. I get mesmerized. It''s hard to tell in the pics, but the prongs aren''t 100% even. (It was handmade... some variance is to be expected). I actually like the little added idiosyncrasy. I mean, the ring is a symbol of my marriage - and my marriage is a little off kilter sometimes too, LOL!
