It''s got a very sexy front to back profile. It looks a lot like a Verragio. I think it''s lovely and fluid and quite elegant.

What band are you going to wear with it?

Gemgirl - I''m not going to wear a band with it. It stands alone just fine, and has the 2 bands worked into the design.

Very unique! Gorgeous!

WOW! Dani, that setting is spectacular! It flows so beautifully like something I've seen in nature.

The diamond is very special... gorgeous!!!!!!!! Woweeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And a D!!!!! It is so icy white! It's a glacier! BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Yay, I am so happy your ring is complete and I bet you are over the moon with excitement!

The setting has an organic/earthy feel about it, making it unique and beautiful at the same time.

Have you shown your mom??

Texan - Thanks!

DH is preening now. I showed him your comment, LOL (he''s really proud of my diamond, as he should be). Thank you Bliss - you made us smile.

Omie- Thanks! I really like the flowy lines. I haven''t shown my mom yes, since she''s an hour away. Hopefully I''ll be able to get down there next weekend!

Wow, how pretty - and it looks so nice on your finger...congrats!

You are welcome. Did not know your mom lived an hour away, I am sure she will be excited to see it when the two of you finally can connect (that would be a great time to introduce her to the Internet + PriceScope).

LOL. I''m still working on it.

Yeah, so I just realized that I misspelled introducing in the title to this thread. I was too excited, evidently.

Hopefully they''ll be able to size it quickly for me so I can have it next weekend!

Dani, it''s GOOOOOOORGEOUSSSSSSS!!!

Your jeweler did a fantastic job! And I agree . . . it doesn''t need a band. I think wearing a band with it might take away from the "two band" look built into the ring. Fabulous!!!

Kelli - I was looking around for something fun to use as a prop and went - Aha! Amethyst! LOL

None of my friends are jewelry people. Their loss!!! The husband loves it and thinks it''s awesome though!

Icekid - Thanks! I love the split shank & 2 band look. I like that the 2 bands are combined into one- kind of like marriage, LOL.
Their loss, OUR gain!

Thanks for sharing.

LS

I love it! What a cool take on the traditional solitaire. Congrats!!

MMT - Thanks for the compliment on the pictures. It''s harder then I expected!

DandiAndi- Thanks! I swear the setting makes my diamond look bigger. Even the ladies at the store were joking that no, they had not given me an upgrade, LOL.

Very pretty. Simple but elegant. I agree it makes your diamond look large.
Nice diamond too, by the way! Looks super sparkly!

The hubby did a good job with that one, LOL.

Very beautiful! The diamond looks so white as well!!

AdiS - Thanks! Unique is what I was going for.

K9 - It turned out better then I imagined. Yay! You guys are getting me even more excited about it!

Thanks Isabelle. DH is so proud of that diamond, LOL.

Dani - That is just gorgeous! I love how fluid it is.

I think you have made the right decision in wearing it alone. I think a band would take away from the beautiful design.

Chiming in rather late, but what a great ring! Beautiful diamond and wonderful design.

Ooh, very pretty!

Thanks Anastacia! Yeah, the design stands on its own.

Lady_Disdain and Marcy - Thanks!!

Thanks SDL - I actually noticed today that it was kicking off sparkles from all directions. I usually get reflected light off the top, but now it''s coming from all sides. It''s really fun, LOL.

Very elegant and good job with the photo shoot!!
