Intricate Galleries and Under Galleries

I love all these beautiful galleries. They're like works of art!

This thread is right up my alley! :appl: I love an intricate gallery, especially floral designs.

Here's mine. I wouldn't have looked at it twice if it had a plain gallery.

Oooooh, very nice!

Here's another one I really love. I didn't buy it because I wasn't a fan of the purple & gold combo, but I love the setting so much. One day I might do a custom one.

Love the hearts!

I can't even count how many ring settings I rejected when I was resetting my ring because they looked gorgeous from the top but then the profile was awful, bad proportions, bad design, etc. Amazing how many jewelers and designers don't pay attention to this.

So true. As Alex T said, I want my pieces to be beautiful in their entirety, little pieces of art.

aunt hazels ring.jpgI wish my phone took better pictures. I inherited my Great Great Aunt's ring. It is a Tiffany & Co. ring from the 1930's. The hearts merge into crosses.
Oh this is just beautiful! More pics please. Wow, I just love the hearts and cross.

That's beautiful and a real treasure!

You all have such beautiful pieces ❤

This ring was my mom's. She died in 1979, so I'm guessing its at least 60 years old. A jeweler told me the stone is glass. Considering the size, that's not surprising, I just wish it wasn't scratched across the table. I really need to get that sizing gizmo off, so I can wear it, anyway. 20200425_113106.jpg20200425_113112.jpg20200425_113106.jpg20200425_113112.jpg20200425_113106.jpg20200425_113112.jpg20200425_113209.jpg20200425_113215.jpg20200425_113057.jpg

What a special ring KaeKae, thank you for sharing! I love the gallery.

I know this is old, but finding gallery inspo is so hard, I would love to bump this!

I have a new one I can add, my newest Art Deco star sapphire in its original setting...

Bumping up this thread
Anyone have anything new to add, or additional photos?

Not sure if this qualifies, as none of them are hugely detailed. But the details they do have were the result of a LOT of thought and work.
