I've been stalking original art deco emerald and diamond bracelets forever but boy are they pricey! This year happens to be a "bigger" birthday and anniversary year so I got the go ahead from hubby to finally pull the string on one. It seems I have a very specific type that is not easy to find. Earlier in the year I found a couple that I loved the style of but one had 50 percent synthetic emeralds and the other had some minor damage to the bezeling and the price reflected the issues. I admit I was really tempted but my friends in Antique and Vintage Jewelry helped me to realize that I would just be settling with these and to be patient. The right one would come along and boy did it! We were able to take a day trip over to Miami to see it in person which really helped. I don't know if they were ready for my master negotiator hubby, lol. I think he might have made them cry. I know you want to get to the pics, so here are the stats and then the million pics I have taken, lol. This piece can't take a bad pic although you can't see how blingy it really is! Original Art Deco Platinum. 8.75cttw OEC's and French square cut diamonds. The center OEC is over 1ct. G, VS. Emeralds are French cut and approx.40cttw. There are no chips on the emeralds and the milgraining is almost perfect. okay, okay here she is in all her glory:

That would be fun! I just can't get enough of these Edwardian/Art Deco pieces. New jewelry just doesn't do it for me anymore.
