Good morning-
Does anyone know where I can find overlays, by themselves, for my invitations? When I ordered samples, I fell in love with an invite, and an overlay. However, the overlay actually went with another invite. I have spoken to several customer service people and am waiting on a call from their corporate office to find out if they will be able to get me these overlays, but I am not so sure they''ll be able to. So, I am bsically looking for a site or store has options. The one I love has 2 half moon circles that fold over the front of the invite with a silver lining. Thanks in advance!

Are you looking for vellum? Like the translucent paper on top of invitations? Do you have a picture of what you''re hoping to find? That might narrow the search down a little. I know office depot had plain vellum that we used as an overlay for our invitations, but it seems like you''re looking for one with some embellishments.

Maybe I should seach for another term. ?? I suppose it''s more of a wrap than an overlay. It doesn''t just lay on the front of the invite, but wraps the whole invite. Thanks for getting my braing moving cammy!

Is it paper or ribbon? If its just a paper strip that wraps around the invitation then you could probably do them yourself by cutting the paper of your choice into strips and securing it using glue dots.

Is it attached to the invitation or wrapped around in a band like this invitation?

Either way, I think that is something you could do on your own if you are the DIY type.

I would hope though that the company you are ordering them from will be flexible for you and let you swap out the wrap for the one you really love.

Here is a picture of the overlay/wrap. Sans the seal.

Ahhh. Ok I see what you mean now. That pic helps a lot. Let me see what I can dig up for you.

I''ll do some looking too! Those are gorgeous, by the way!

I really appreciate all the help! Yeah, those wraps/overlays, whatever the heck they are, look amazing over the invites we chose. They really make the invite pop!

Here is a michaels how-to (you cut the vellum to size yourself):
Invitation Sleeve
Where to buy 8.5 x 11 sheets of vellum to DIY:
Here

These are expensive, $44 for 10 but these look like more what you are looking for:
Ivory
pearl

I found these by googling variations of:
"invitation jacket"
"invitation sleeve"
"vellum jacket"
"invitation vellum gatefold"

Not sure it''s totally helpful, but maybe it''s a start.
