Is it normal for stones to be loose after 2 months of wear?

I bought a half eternity ring from a PS vendor in August. I treat it gently and do not wear it when doing any work around the house. There are 2 stones that are loose already. Is this considered normal?

Nope. Contact the vendor - they should tighten the stones without charge.

Nope, not good. Send it for tightening.

BUT it can be normal in the sense that in my experience too I had a stone fall out after a couple months wear... and then no more in the past year and a half! I think sometimes loose stones are most likely to be noticable in the start, ones that were not set juuust right. It is a quick and easy fix and they should take care of it for you.

It's pretty common, and I guess that makes it 'normal' but it's something you should definitely contact the vendor about and have addressed. Stones that are moving in the mounting cause wear to the gold fairly quickly (diamonds are HARD, gold is soft) and the problem gets worse. It's usually easy to deal with if you get on it quickly but it can turn into a serious problem if you drag it out.
