I was watching an old episode of Giuliana & Bill and had to take a screenshot of this ring. Is the stone a diamond? Why does it have that sort of checkerboard appearance? Sorry if it's too hard to tell from the photo quality. I just had to ask since it looks so huge and luminous, yet different from most diamonds. Thanks in advance for the feedback!
