Is this too much color? Brainstorming a modest paraiba/spinel partial eternity band

Did some searching last night to see if there was a name for that type of alternating arrangement, and the only one I could find is an "up and down" eternity band, done by Lauren B jewelry with Pear shaped stones as a full eternity band. If you do a full eternity you could space out the Paraibas throughout the ring so it looks more intentional and not like you ran out of Paraibas ;-)

Also found a couple on Etsy that are similar (searched Zig Zag eternity ring) but have a completely different approach to the diamonds in between the angled marquis/baguettes

I don't think this next one would work with ovals replacing the baguettes, but the placement of the rounds was a way to fill in that negative space between the up/down stones

I vote for emmy's diagonal design (without the alternative angles, though that is cool too), I think it's really simple and effective:)

Love it!!

Here is the rough draft of the CAD, with alternative placement of paraiba and colorless diamonds.

If you don't like the pokey-out effect of the prongs on the small round melee diamonds (at the 12 o'clock on the top and 6 o'clock on the bottom ones) you could ask for 3 prong setting on the melee with the "point" of the triangle oriented "inwards" . Extremely crude markup with white dots showing new positions on the melee stones. This would make the band look more uniform in width, which you may or may not want.

ETA: ignore this comment if that effect was desired :)

Edit #2 to add: this orientation is how the baguette inspo band had them
