Very pretty stone. Clearly Jeff is going to have to keep cutting these rocks so each of us can have one!

OH.

MY.

STARS.

I had to say it. I''m in AWE. And absolutely and completely head over heels in love with that stone. HOLY CRAP. CONGRATS!!

Selkie you took the words right out of my mouth!! It IS a happy little stone.

It is absolutely gorgeous. I can''t wait to see that beauty set!!

About the setting. Step cut traps. F-G VS. From Wink. He found me an amazing pair of F VS halfmoons a while back (and sadly I couldnt'' buy them when I really was honest with myself about them) and they were TOTALLY affordable. They were about 4 mm tall. I LOVE LOVE LOVE asschers with traps, especially ones that are accents, and don''t overpower the center. I REALLY think that pairing that diamond with traps would be killer. And if a step cut colored stone is anything like a diamond... a bezel will cut down some on it''s light return (some not a ton if it''s well cut, which of course it is).

Ditto what Gypsy just said.

So it was you that bought that from under me!!
I love that stone - glad it is going to a nice home!!

I emailed Jeff about it and within minutes he told me it was sold.
Guess that will teach me to be faster on the draw.

By the way, I''ve read this thread and the other one about Jeff''s stuff. However, I went to his website and never saw these ''new'' stones everyone has been raving about. Am I losing it or just not looking in the right place?

He has a ''Members only'' section where he posts these first. I think if you sign up for his newsletter that adds you to the members only. You are sent a log in and p/w to get in.

Easy Peasy.

Other than the newsletter where you can get his latest gemstone hot off the dop, he custom cuts just for you. You tell him what stone, colour, size and shape you want, he hunts it down, you give him the green light and viola, a "new" stone is made.

Be still my beating heart!

I think that just shot right to the top of my favorites from Jeff.

omg it is amazing.

I think either setting would be gorgeous, just different. The bezel would be more casual, the traps more glitzy. I don''t think you could go wrong either way with that stone.

We haven''t had a ton of sun lately, but there was little peeking though today, so I took a few more pics for you guys. I really need to start brainstorming the best way to set this! :)

I didn''t clean it before these pics, so those are dust dots, not inclusions. :)

I absolutely LOVE that stone. And, I''m not normally an asscher fan, a yellow fan, a square fan or anything. It''s got to be the amazing magic that Jeff works on every piece of rough!

Sure will be great to see how you set it!

OH MY GOSH. That is amazing. How happy are you?

Mental note to self: get some kind of asscher cut stone from Jeff White someday. Seriously. That stone could light up the bat signal. You know, from Batman.

Gosh I''m a dork.

A jealous dork. But still.

Geez, I love that stone. It is so unique. You were so lucky to snatch that baby up. I can''t wait to see it set.
