Hi all! Big thanks to @Kim N for finding me a stone over at Loose grown.

After an extended trip out of town I finally had it shipped and picked it up.

Would love your help evaluating the stone. I'll link my other post with the stats.

Thanks to everyone for the help with looking at OECs. Something was gnawing at me and after browsing all the SMTB threads I realized I equate OEC with a warm color and no matter the cutting, a d-f-g stone was going to bug me.

I'm taking @Dreamer_D 's advice and looking for an MRB. My original stone was a transitional and more splintery so I think the setting will work with that cut.

About that cut. I am even more clueless about modern stones than older ones. I browsed Ritani and distinctive gems and am having a hard time telling what a good cut would be. I'd prefer to stay on the...

It looks very nice. I’m enjoying the pastels in the first two pictures. And I think it works just fine in the setting!

How do you like it?

I am really happy with it. Much more lively than the OEC. I was surprised to see how much color it reflected not being am OEC but the pastels are fantastic.
I don't really know MRBs but i think the cut is good. Trying to compare to video but my concerns that is wasn't the same stone seem to be allayed.

@Kim N thanks again. I think I want to swap the colored stone in another ring for a MRB, it is only 8mm but I'll start a new thread.
