Oh no!!! The camera on my iPhone has been broken beyond repair for a while now, so I took some photo's with an IPod and guess what! Every.single.photo.is.blurry

To give you some idea I will post some. Will try to make some normal photo's with a normal camera later.

Luv2sparkle: LM's and VC's look different because of the stones but also because of the curvature of the shank. VC's shank is a bit more geometrical while LM's shank is more curved and the stone is set low which creates a more romantic look.

Backwardsandinheels: I am learning so much on PS!! Milgrain, beading, milgrain it is!

Arkieb1: thanks again for convincing me to stick with one style, either modern or vintage and to not have engraving done without the milgrain.

Gemmyblond: I think it took him 2 weeks from the moment he said he would make a start. Before that he needed some time to source the lower color stones. In the end it was me delaying it as I requested a sleek modern look. I was happy with the result but I knew my old stone needed a vintage touch.

Gemfever: thanks! I am really happy with the color match! Especially since VC didn't have my stone.

Woofmama and Sandycheeks: it took me many settins to find this forever home. This combination really works.

You are so funny Bright Ice: your Sophia was one of my favourites, together with LGK's and Carat Lovers. Well, I actually love all the french cut sides rings.

The setting is beyond my expectations:
- one of a kind, unique (especially outside PS)
- side stones and setting to complement (and not overwhelm) the antique cut center stone
- not to bling or big, but understated chic
- can be worn on its own
- vintage art deco style
- clear taper (from 6 - 2 mm)
- platinum
- hand forged
- Set as low as possible as my center stone is already 6.20 mm high

Creating a taper is not easy with a round stone, but it looks perfect!!
I like it that Vc used 8 stones on each side, creating an endless diamond stream.
The frenchies are elegantly chic, not bling and the engraving and milgrain make it really personal.

Oh, my ringsize is 5 3/4 for reference. It fits perfectly.

It's indeed a big difference Blingymo... My OEC looks so much prettier and sparklier in this setting.

OMG!!! That ring is so beautiful!! Victor's work is amazing so I can imagine it looks even better IRL. Your design looks a little different from the Sophia he has online...did you ask him to change a few things? I love how your stems curve out rather than his usual inward curve.
