I am having custom ones made. The tahitian pearl I chose has intense green overtones and, although, it is baroque, it has a bit more of a round shape. I think the geodes need to be baroque in shape, but at the same time I felt with the round tahitians in the necklace that the earrings shouldn't be tooooo baroque- if you know what I mean. I'm having the geode pearls dangling on white gold shepherd hooks with longer white gold chains. Here is a pic of the tahitian pearl.

thanks, bsomio. It is amazing how thick that nacre is, isn't it??!! And I love how shiny black it is when it's polished. Now, just need to see it with all those sparkly black diamonds set in the middle.

sigh... I have been a good girl and they were kept in the safe until a few days ago when my husband wrapped them up and put them under the tree. They would have looked so good with several of my party outfits,too!!!!! But, New Years Eve is just around the corner and I have a feeling they'll get some use that night
