It's time to introduce Isabella...

Beautiful rings, love the metal mixture! Your DH's band is so unique as well. Congratulations on your marriage!

Thanks bright ice!

Wow, what an amazing and unique ring! And so much sentiments that went into it! It truly is one of a kind and looks amazing on your hand :kiss2:

That was our hope Babyblue. Well, the amazing and unique part... the looking good on my hand was a bonus :mrgreen2:

Really beautiful set. Glad things turned out well at the end of the day!

Enjoy.

Thanks Kirst! There were definitely moments of :wall: but thankfully now we're on to

Beautiful rings. I’m not usually a fan if rose gold so much, but it was used to perfection in your set as well as your husband’s ring!

Thanks Coda! I tried to walk that line of some but not too much, so I appreciate your kind words a lot!

This stack has got it ALL

I've been SO ready to wear this stack - haha! And you stackers are nothing but enablers and have me already wanting MORE!

I adore the significance of each detail! The outcome is absolutely breathtaking! I know the road was bumpy, but I hope that your heirloom ring and bands are everything you dreamed they’d be!!

Thanks Yenny. You have exquisite taste in jewelry, and you know I've coveted several of your rings!! Thanks for sharing in my joy and appreciating all of the special details =)2

Beautiful and unique! What a great collaborative effort. Congrats!

Thanks Poshmommy! And can I say that whenever you're ready to sell that yummy AVR you can just let me know :mrgreen2:. Seriously... it's a dream ring!!!

Congratulations!!! :kiss2:
And your ring is TDF! Isabella is a BEAUTY

Thanks Asscher! I hope I did my grandmother proud =)2

Congrats, beautiful ring!

Thanks DF! Looking forward to seeing your 7+ct asscher any day now...:lol:

So glad it all turned out to be exactly what you wanted.

Thanks Austina! In the end, it did =)2

Your rings are just beautiful! I love them with your watch, too!

Thanks DS! I'm loving this combo too. I think my tennis bracelet is back permanently on my left wrist. I love all the sparklies together

Your ring turned out fabulous; it has wonderful detail. Beautiful diamond too. Congratulations.

Thank you so much Marcy. I appreciate it! And I agree... the diamond Yekutiel/IDJ found us is amazing

So, so gorgeous! I love the combination of rose to white gold/platinum (can’t remember which one it is :D). And your stack is delicious. I especially like that rose gold band because of the tiny flowers. But my love for the tulip inspired shoulders can not be topped. The detailing is exquisite! :kiss2:

Thanks Elle! I do love those little flowers on the band too, and it's why I chose that one. But I agree... those tulips get me every time! I always smile too that I'm the one who drew them and the designer just scanned it to his computer :kiss2:. Now, where to find additional delicate floral bands to improve my stacking ability.... :mrgreen2:
MY GAWD... these are STUN-NING!!!

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
That was literally my reaction! Thanks for the smile msop :mrgreen2:

This photo... OMG!

I know, right?!!! Want to know the best part? That's the view I have of my diamond and rings 90% of the time, and being left-handed it's almost always in my line of sight :dance::love::dance::love::dance::love:

What a lucky girl I am :appl:

Oh, I WAS scared . I have a coloring app on my phone and I played with sketches several times trying different combinations before I had my "ah-ha" moment (and even then it was nerve wracking!). But I wouldn't change one thing. Well, I take that back... when we received the ring the bezel was still too prominent for my liking (which had been a concern for me) so I changed it from polished rose gold to brushed rose gold to help it blend more.

Well it came out wonderful! The bezel is a dream. I love it! I wish I had such courage

CONGRATS! It's a beautiful set. The bands go so well with the very special engagement ring! :D

@ILikeShiny I had to come back to look at the wedding bands again. I know the ering steals the show for sure but the whole combination with the 2 bands are just so perfect. Now you got me wanting stacking bands!

Very beautiful. Enjoy.

Thanks Queenie!

AMAZING!!!! well done!!! congrats!!!!

Thanks Greg :mrgreen2:

Haha... thanks Babyblue! As someone who has worn just the ring, I agree... the ring is amazing on its own, but the bands just complete the set perfectly. And I HIGHLY recommend stacking
:appl:  :appl:

Wow! Love the inspiration story. Any pics showing the strong blue fluoresence?
Hi @lambskin - I took some fluorescence photos for you today. At least, I tried too... it's buggardly hard to get ones in focus o_O Here are the best I could get!

And this shows how brightly it lights up when the light hits it dead-on. I find fluorescence amazingly cool

So glad to finally get to see your beautiful ring(s). Your engagement ring - WOW!!!!!!!! What more can be said? It's just spectacular. Such an interesting design, with all your personal meaning added to it.
It looks great with your 2 bands - what a great idea to have two.
I love the way you incorporated the rose gold into your husband's band, so that it goes along with your settings.
You're a great photographer, @ILikeShiny I keep coming back to look at your closeup pics.

Congratulations on your marriage and many years of happiness together.

Glad to know I’m not the only one that loves fluorescence in diamonds. It just makes them so interesting...and more fun to play with. :kiss2:

This may be my favorite mixed metal set on PS. The way you blended the rose gold and platinum is delightful and feels cohesive rather that as an after thought as accent metal often does. The set reads as lovely and intentional. Very snazzy. Congratulations and it looks like your patience paid off big time!
:appl:

Congratulations! One spectacular ring! And love the bands! And your future hubby’s band is something else too!

Love those flour shots. So cool!

Here are some photos of DH's band too, as well as some earlier photos of my ring "in the wild"=)2

Your husband's band is fantastic.

Thank you so much Garnetgirl =)2. It's funny... when I told DH that I wanted two bands he asked why, and I said something like, "Well, I could make it all meaningful and sentimental... like it represents the blending of two families... but the truth is I just like how it looks." And thanks for the compliment on the photos. I owe it all to a cheap little gizmo I picked up from Amazon that makes my iPhone a zoom camera :mrgreen2: - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XKGZFS3/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It does not get any better than this! Wowza!

Awwww, thank you sweet Jimmianne!

Glad to know I’m not the only one that loves fluorescence in diamonds. It just makes them so interesting...and more fun to play with. :kiss2:

I completely agree. When I first came to PS I was anti-fluorescence, thinking it was a defect, but once I was educated and realized it was more of a preference than anything (usually) I actually hoped to find a diamond that had it. It always tickles me when I see it light up!

What a nice compliment! I'm biased but I think it's my favorite too ;)2:lol-2:.

Thank you! I adore his band too. And I love that he gets so many compliments from people, even random strangers! :appl:

Isabella is amazing!!! I bet she is blinding in sunlight! :appl::appl:

Oh I really love this! Thanks for sharing the pics...

WOW!!!!
Stunning design, it turned out absolutely beautiful and so so elegant.
A true heirloom. Congratulations!!!
Your husbands band is amazing can you please give details on his ring?

I have to say I am not usually a rose gold person but I am ENTRANCED by the color combination in your setting. Also I have a real love of step cuts on other people, gorgeous. I love being able to see the development work in your sketches.

@ILikeShiny I kind of have a tangent question, my wedding is soon and I just realized that I have no idea what to do during the ceremony with regard to the stacked wedding band style. Did he put both on your finger during the ceremony? Or did you only use one and put the second one on later? Wasn't sure what the easier thing was to do! Sorry to thread dredge but I thought of you when I thought of this! Many thanks.

What a beautiful set of rings! I love looking at all the textures and variations of metal...really pretty!

Thank you! And she is! She's so sparkling white in the sun, but my favorite is when I'm under fluoro lights and all of her colors shine. I took a video recently that captured it but I have to figure out how to upload it without sound (it was taken at a ball game so there's obnoxiously loud music playing ). I'll tag you when I figure it out :mrgreen2:

Thank you Seven_Kai!

You're welcome! I also took a fluorescence video and once I figure out how to upload without sound I'll share that one too =)2

Aww, thanks RubyJim! Maybe one day I'll have a granddaughter I can pass it along to =)2

My husband's ring is made with platinum and rose gold, size 13, and 10mm in width. I forget how many ounces of platinum was used but it was a lot :eek2:.

I have to say I am not usually a rose gold person but I am ENTRANCED by the color combination in your setting. Also I have a real love of step cuts on other people, gorgeous. I love being able to see the development work in your sketches.

Thank you so much! Entranced is such a cool, descriptive word that I hadn't considered before but I'd say it applies to me too, even after almost a year of wearing it!

Congratulations to you!! We went through options, especially since we were having two ceremonies. In the end we decided to just have him put both of them on my finger during the "big" ceremony. We had considered my wearing one on the other hand during the ceremony and then slipping it on during the reception, or possibly saying something during the ring exchange about the meaning behind two bands (two souls, two families, or something similar) and then putting them on one at a time as we pledged certain attributes to that reason, but in the end we just kept it simple.

What a beautiful set of rings! I love looking at all the textures and variations of metal...really pretty!

Thanks tyty! The variety keeps me happy too =)2
