What an AMAZING story! I’m glad I go to read about this gorgeous stone!

Aww thank you @Mreader. Very kind of you.

Missy, any more solitaire thoughts, or have you fallen in love with the setting?

Also, whats the table percentage on Bubbalah (my great aunts used to call me that)? So lovely!

Hi @Tourmaline her table is 52%.

As for my thoughts re solitaire I am still hoping to find a genuine antique solitaire to match Bubbalah's antique beauty. And for the meantime I am holding with this setting which I have come to appreciate more and more. It suits her for now. And me.

My grandma used to call us Bubbalah and Greg and I call each other that too. It's (one of) our affectionate nickname for each other. I explain in the first post. I love that your great aunts used to call you that too.

Looking forward to your OEC with much excited anticipation. :appl:
Thanks for stopping by to check out Bubbalah.

Adding a gratuitous bling pic of both MaryAnn and Ginger with Bubbalah. :)

Thanks, Missy. My upcoming OEC has a 51% table and a similar flavor to yours! Mine is lower in color, though. It’s funny that you and I both strayed from L...your preference went higher and mine went warmer.

While there are so many outstanding rings on this forum, yours is definitely my favorite. I know you said you want her forever setting but she is truly magnificent in this one. She looks so perfect on you.
