If anyone cares, and is looking for some studs, JA has 25% off their diamond studs right now. .25ctw RB would be $225 .. not bad if you are looking for a smaller pair. It would be $350 at WF. I thought I would just tell people as I just got the email.

My wife does not have pierced ears. On the basis of both principle and budget, I''m reluctant to suggest she get them (re-)pierced (she had had them pierced, but they closed up on her).

OK, this is a total thread jack...but should I encourage her to get them pierced?

Naw I think it''s a deeply personal thing.. getting holes put into your body. Maybe you could just ask her if she has thought of re-doing them.. so you could buy her new studs...? Small studs work for me because these would be for my 2nd holes, not first. I used to have stretched earlobes (over an inch) and any earring would go right through!

This is also off topic, sorry, but I''m getting surgery eventually to get my earlobes reconstructed. SO, for now, little studs look best. And thanks for replying!

Ira, if you tell her you're going to buy her diamonds, I'm SURE she'll get them re-pierced with no additional encouragement required!!!

I had studs that were .20 carats, my sister wears them in her 2nd piercing. It''s a good size for some people. I wish they were running 25% off all their studs though, for those of us who want larger earrings. Not that I should be spending the money.
