CCN & Dani, I''m hoping that the NSC will sell a setting without a center stone. Some of the language on their website leads me to believe that they''d rather just sell a completed ring, and they may not be willing to sell an empty setting.

That setting in a size 6 would be $1,275, and a size 7 would be $1,310. Hmmmm, I wonder if WF could make it any cheaper?

ETA: Oops, forgot to mention . . . those prices are for 18k yellow gold.

This stone is very special to me and I don''t want to make a mistake with it. WF is just down the road from me and I should just go there and see what they have to say about it.

I love the NSC ring....very pretty and just what I would like to show off the spinel....

FYI, I paid $385 for my spinel.....Jeff''s stones are very obtainable! I''m already saving up for my next conquest.

Update on my little beauty......I''m working with Whiteflash on the perfect ring for my asscher. Jamie is SO nice and we''ve come to an agreement on pricing.....CAD is next and then on to the finished product. I can''t wait!!!!
