If natural
Diamond prices are falling, Why am I not seeing lower pricing on Jewelry pieces? It is better to go to the district and find someone who needs to move something? I’m scratching my head.

Labor is still high. Gold is still high. The jewelers/vendors may have bought the stones when the prices were still high. Lots of variables. I'm not seeing the pieces of finished pieces come down anywhere really. Only some loose stones.
The NY Diamond district is, in general, not a great place to find a bargain. Rents are crazy. Labor is crazy. Taxes are crazy. It's an entertaining place to shop but if price is your hot button, the DD isn't the place to be. That said, if you're looking for a diamond intensive piece with a lot of diamond and no so much labor, like a big-ol' solitaire, prices ARE down. If you're looking for something with a lot of gold or platinum and a lot of setting labor to put it all together, prices are going up.
