Big and bold diamonds. Lots of finger coverage and bling. But still understated in elegant settings.

What about a jummy marquise in 2014? Marquise ambassador Niel knew it a along: the Marquise is a lovely and elegant form that elongates your hand. And it is special and original. I would love to have a far one like in Fortekitty's pendant

Let your stone shine in a solitaire! Look at these beautiful examples. It makes a stone shine and sets it center stage. Works great with stacking too. A classic and sophisticated look. LLJsmom's solitaire thread is very popular at the moment. I guess many will return to the solitaire.

Especially since you've pretty much built a compilation of some of my most fav rings on here haha haha I agree with everything you said, and I think they will all continue into 2014 because they are all great styles (I definitely hope more fancy shapes like marquise cuts make a comeback, too). And I just LOOOOVE seeing these 5 ct honkers (including your beautiful ring)! I definitely hope that train doesn't stop

The great thing is that we can choose what fits with our skin or mood. Warm yellow, mysterious red or the cool elegance of platinum and rhodinated white gold. And the soft glow of unplated white gold.

Thanks for being a true ambassador of this sophisticated shape. I found them reilly weird until you gave me the Marquise fever... And I love it! I was very close to buying one, but I am now first saving up for a sapphire first.

This was my prediction too. More ovals, marquise, even emerald cuts being set east west. I've had a marquise for a few years now that I've been back and forth debating a setting....east/west in a gorgeous rose gold halo...or as a pendent in a dbty? *sigh* decisions decisions!!

In 2014 we will see gorgeous coloured stones. One of the most popular will be the sapphire. We will see them as RHR's but also as a unique alternative for the diamond e-ring...
Blue is a mesmerizing colour that suits many people. We will see the mid coloured blue, but also the deeper/darker mysterious stones (like Kate's and Liz's) and the cooling and calming light blue stones. Pick what suits your personal preference and skin tone!

In 2014 we will sell some of our rings that only sits in in our jewelry boxes to be able to acquire the one and only dream ring. THE ring to enjoy and wear every day

Some of us - while owning fabulous rings - are considering a reset. Their rings are gorgeous!!! But it just doesn't fit with their style and taste... Or they just prefer something different. Time for a reset!!! In 2014 we will see quite some resets. Some of us have had their rings only for a short while, but already something new is cooking Go for it ladies! You deserve it.
And ok, I'll admit: I have been there I am now over the moon with my forever setting.
