Definitely halos, I think we're behind in terms of ring trends but I've seen two halos IRL in the last couple of months so I think there will be more. It nods to vintage/retro styling which is still big news and plus it gives that amazing finger coverage.
I don't know about the 5 carat trend here, I would maybe say in the UK 2 carats is the new 1 carat?! The 1 carat mark is a dream for most but I have definitely seen bigger diamonds recently that I would call honkers That or small and delicate diamonds in simple solitaires.
I think OEC/OMCs could be big over here, again the vintage trend and knowing that you have something unique, but I haven't seen any IRL. I recently saw an ad in a bridal magazine for a jeweller selling specifically these cuts (at exorbitant prices) so it could be starting.
Funnily enough I haven't really seen coloured stones, which I thought I would, what with the Kate effect and all, but I just see diamonds.
