Now for the shoes...

First pair: my awesome 9 year-old prom shoes. I posted a pic somewhere on here but deleted it from my comp, but they''re your basic silver strappy sandals with a chunky 2" heel.

Second pair: Crocs "Sassari" wedge in white/celery:

Third pair: Baker''s "Brianna" - worn with Alfred Angelo iridescent taffeta dress, style #6568 in Sage

Wedding dress was David''s Bridal Style T9315 in white. I had my seamstress add a satin halter strap, which was just a 2" wide strap, a yard long, pinched in half at the back of the neck so it had a more triangular shape. It turned the dress into a whole different animal, and I loved it.

MANY congrats to you Jstar, you were such a beautiful bride and everything looked splendid!!!!!!

Absolutely fabulous! Your friends/family took great pictures! What all was your bouquet made out of? It is very unique and organic looking! You were one gorgeous bride, all the best to you and your new hubby!

Thanks so much to all of you!

Lorelei and katamari - Awww, you gals make me blush! Although I'm quite proud of how my shoulders and arms turned out. It's all due to the magic of free weights...I do biceps curls with 2 15lb dumbbells, triceps extension overhead with a single 20lb dumbbell, and shoulder overhead presses with 2 15lb dumbbells. I round out the upper body workout with ab crunches on an inclined bench as well as chest presses and lat pulldowns on a universal gym machine.

Diamondseeker - I'm very lucky to have friends who are such great photographers!

AG - yup, he was very pleased with the way I looked, and he finally appreciated all the work I put into the wedding planning when he saw everything!

Sparkles - the bouquet was really interesting, wasn't it? I had a slightly different vision for it, but I think my florist created a really nice look. The arcuate curve of the stems was quite unexpected but made it look clean and modern. My bouquet was made out of 3 large long-stem white calla lilies tied with satin ribbon (actually it was the reject from my first go at the halter strap!). I'm not sure what the greenery was.

ETA: Bridesmaid bouquets were the same as mine except 1 calla lily instead of 3. The corsages and boutonnieres were mini-callas.

Everything looked beautiful, especially you!! I too am jealous of your arms! Haha, I loved the Spoc photo with the guys, my fiance is pretty geeky too, so I can relate. (Who am I kidding, I''m a huge geek myself).

Congrats congrats congrats!

Thanks, MTG! He and I are both huge dorks. He''s more of a comic book and PC gamer type, and I''m more into video games and nerdy science stuff. Spock was his idea. Putting Mario and Peach (though she''ll always be Toadstool to me) on the cake was mine!

Found another really cool pic I thought I''d post...

Hehe, yeah, my fiance used to play Magic The Gathering (MTG) competitively, so I''m working it into the programs for the ceremony. I love nerds!
