Speaking of emeralds. Does anyone know what is happening with the columbian emerald prices? with all that is going on over there are their prices going to go up. i don''t have anyone in the trade to get info from. has any one heard anything?

in reguards to the tanzanite grading scale; if you go to the tanzanite one website. open the press release, i think it is on page 28. Heck, i called jtv and told them to tell scott where to find it because i was tired of scott making up sh... he does that often. low and behold the next time he was on he was describing the new grading system. He was acting so proud of himself for finding it. what a dumb a.. ! In the press release it has a color scale and the way the tanzanite will be graded. Anyone can open the press release. From what i hear the gia and several other organizations and tanzanite one are having a feaud on who should create the grading scale. but i think the one that ownes the stone will win out. i have also heard that most of the larger jewelry stores already have the grading scale. if they are using it is another question?
