Re:
Hello ladies,
Sorry for my fly-by post last night, but I was just exhausted, actually kinda like I am right now. Ugh. It appears that this serious fatigue comes in around lunch and then fades a bit in the late afternoon then smacks me upside the head in the evening. Oh well, the little ninja turtle is welcome to suck my energy, so long as it helps it grow
DD - Sorry about missing your news. Can I just chalk the non-reading up to the baby brain, lol? I am glad to hear it all went well and that your boss was cool with it. Thanks for the stats. I had heard 200 mg max a day, but I figure I don't have but a few sips of coffee a day, so I should be ok. I also sometime drink some peppermint tea, but that is caffine-free so that's good. I never really drink soda anyway, so that's not to much of an issue. Otherwise, I hope that you start to feel better soon.
Basil - Hmm, let me think about the non-alcoholic drink thing. My DH is the resident mixologist, so I will see if he has any ideas. That would probably be good for me to know too, hehe.
Blen - Thanks on the journaling props. I do enjoy it, and hopefully the LO will enjoy reading it later, if not just me going back to read it later on. I also very much like the wine idea. I might have to steal that one
Btw, how is that adorable little George doing? Does he like the new house?
Mrs - That's funny the way that worked out with my parents. The last time I was home was actually April/May, but I thought I was pregnant then, or would at least be soon. Go figure that it took 8 more months to get KU, but it did work out ok
I am just glad that no one moved the boxes around on me, hehe. That's great that you found and got an appt with an OB. You will be about 9-10 weeks then, right? If so, I bet you will get a nice little look at your bean
As for the symptoms, yeah, mine are pretty mild too. But as a frist timer, the BB's size does not stop amazing me. I think I might have to go out and get some cheap new bras b/c I am feeling a bit constricted in mine.
I hope your symptoms continue to be managable too.
RC - Congrats on another great ultrasound, what a great heartbeat. And another big congrats for getting to graduate to the big doctor
That is to sweet about the tadpole ornament. I do feel really similar to you on the announcement timing thing. A couple good girlfriends know we were doing the whole IUI thing, so I'm sure they will ask soon enough. I feel like once I get those ultrasounds under my belt, I will feel more comfortable with gradually letting the cat out of the bag (although, I have cats, and I know they don't really do anything casual when they are popping out of the bag, much like a girl with a huicy secret
) An apple seed huh, I will have to find that fruit tracker, I like it! As for the streching/flutters, I don't really mind it b/c I feel like everything is growing in there. This tiredness though is really kicking me in the caboose! I am just starting with the bloating though, so we'll see how that goes. It sounds like you have a pretty good diet going on. I am a weight watcher, and have been doing the new program the last few weeks, so the healthy food is on board, but I agree that for some reason, salads just seem to make me quesey now. I will reserve judgements until a few more weeks though.
Modern - How you doing lady?

AFM - I am officially at 5 weeks and very happy to be here. I am also seriously looking forward to the weekend and naps, ah sleep
. This fatigue thing is really kicking me in the tush!
Otherwise, I am feeling not to bad. I am starting to get the baby bloat, but nothing horrible yet. Question for you ladies, do any of you subscribe to the "babycenter" weekly emails? I was thinking about it, but I didn't know if it was a bunch of junk or actually useful. Ok, well I need to finish up some work so I can get outta here at a decent hour today. I hope you all have a lovely weekend and happy baby baking!
