It is an Irish name. I have always loved it. Also Esme......if I had a girl, this is the name that I would have chose.

@briolette Do you mind sharing what depth is your emerald/setting??

I'm considering an 11x9ish sapphire and I wear a size 4.25. But I'm hesitant to get that size stone in case it's too much for me. But you ring is soooo close to the size I'm looking at and it looks amazing on you!

So if you don't mind sharing how deep the emerald is or high it sits, I'd really appreciate it!

Hi @AnastasiaBeaverhausen (I love your username, BTW. Huge Will and Grace fan!)
The height of the stone was about 7.5mm which is a touch on the deep side, but this emerald was cut to enhance the color. The height of the setting itself is 8.5mm to accommodate the surprise diamonds

Because there are side stones, it doesn't come across being that tall off the finger. However, if it were a solitaire, it probably would stick out a bit, if that makes any sense.

Since your stone is 1mm wider than mine, it might be fine, since the stone would be spanning more of your finger. I know that doesn't sound like much but in jewelry 1mm makes a big difference visually.

I've had this ring for a couple of months now and it is suprisingly comfortable, so i'd say go for it! :D
