Just received pics WF 2 ct Vatche U113 - Thoughts?

it is a bigger setting head because they said the Vatche U113 had one for 0.40-1.99 carat and another for 2.00-9.99 carat (+ $300). While I don't think I would go any bigger with a 3.75 ring finger size, my diamond was 2.028 and so they said it needed the larger head... is that why it might look off?
Yes, I think that's exactly why it's "off." I still think the smaller setting could have been used and they extend the prong tips or whatever if you diamond required it. 2.028 is so close to 2 that I don't know why they didn't try the 2ct head first. Whiteflash *used* to make some remarkable rings back in 2004 to late 2000s when I was in the market to buy. But I don't know about some of their recent work. Not what they used to be, for sure.

Here's a teaser... WF really really came through with the new prongs, giving them softer edges. The production lead even offered to further soften the edges after the first attempt. They now look beautiful, but since the ring wasn't done until late Friday afternoon, I'm now trying to patiently wait through the weekend to get my hands on the ring!!!

IT HAS ARRIVED!!!!! 
Not yet engaged, but my bf and I did have a laugh about him going through my checklist… he’s still on #1.
It is BEAUTIFUL BEYOND WORDS and NOT SQUATTY AT ALL. (I even bought calipers to measure the height in case I had to have it reset!
)
The prongs are perfection, the soften edges make it look so delicate. Quite frankly they are so small that they disappear into the diamond and I don’t even notice them at all.
This ring is the epitome of elegance.
Can we all just make him propose already???? Maybe I should’ve shortened that checklist or else we’re going to be waiting for awhile now…
THANK YOU to everyone for carrying me through this journey. I’ve already forgotten about all my paralysis by analysis. I’ll just wait here patiently and not let my head go into the next step - wedding band… though I’m leaning towards a half channel to avoid prong damage. Just saying.

Congrats! So glad you’re thrilled with it.
Now do yourself a favor and delete these pics off your phone and try not to look at them here! LOL! You’re gonna be tempted to look at them over and over and over. If you try to “forget” how it looked on your hand, you’ll be even more excited to get it at proposal time. (Just my humble opinion.)

Very true. I probably over analyzed the pictures from when I went to Tiffany’s, local jewelry store, and everything on Pricescope to the 1000th degree. And seeing it in person just now, absolutely still BLEW MY MIND. All my worries can be laid to rest now. Pictures deleted!

It’s gonna make it even better when you are presented it by your beloved. Because it won’t be memorized, and you will get to be mesmerized! You’ll stare at it and think “oh yeah, I forgot about that!” like you are seeing it with new eyes. And you can enjoy the moment of the proposal even more. He proposed a few days ago and the moment was as magical as ever and the ring is still a STUNNER even after having seen it before!!
He tried to throw me off 5 times of when he was planning to propose and somehow turned our living room into beautiful surprise while I was away at the gym… which I changed my schedule last minute this week and forced him to improvise.

(Just for info, I am positive that Vatche doesn't use one head for .40-1.99 and one head for 2.0-9.99 cts! That's impossible! They charge $200 for all the heads under 2 cts and $300 for all sizes 2 cts and up. You definitely got the right size!)
