Just scooped up this aquamarine

So here are a few pics of the stone I got. Having looked at the cut closely, it is the same stone as originally advertized. Unfortunately I still cannot get myself to like the way the stone performs

PS I don't know why the stone looks so dirty in the photos, but I suspect it's the "wonderful" quality of my blackberry phone.

Is the color on screen true to what you see in front of you?

That aquamarine is actually very light grayish blue, without much green on my monitor. The reflective mirror and background colour is making it look greenish but when you look carefully, you'll see that the stone is blue. However, the lab memo called it yellowish green so I am inclined to think that the photography is way off compared to the real stone.

I calculated the depth of the cushion aquamarine and doubt it is a good candidate for a recut since the depth is close to 60%, not giving the lapidary much to work with unless willing to lose a lot of carat weight.
