I saw this from Pearllunar pearly link

and thought about you! They''re unstrung, but $20 for 3 stands seems like a great deal.

ETA: I just saw the strand I think you were talking about pearly link 2 and those really are prettier than the ones I showed you. I''m thinking about getting the other ones though as Christmas presents...

Three strands of pearls, for afternoon of stringing (I''m not good at knotting between pearls, but I can string otherwise) and $20? I think it sounds like a pretty decent deal!

szh, if you use something like PowerPro - doubled - it is almost impossible to not knot well between the pearls. Using an overhand knot, the PowerPro is easy to separate the doubled strand and pull it tight up against the pearls. I've gotten pretty good with my placement of the knots to begin with but when using PP, I have been able to slide a knot down about an inch.

Seeing Pearllunar's strands beaded would be beautiful and the knots would not be needed. But the safety factor in case the strand breaks is reassuring when knotted.

Regardless of how you string them, they will be beautiful and as you said, make terrific gifts! And the price on the link shows $10 for the 3 strands which makes them all the more attractive...

Kelli, the strand you are looking at is gorgeous! The luster is amazing... I'd go for it!

Thanks szh07!! The second link is the one I was talking about. I wish I did know how to string my own, they have a lot of strands I''d love to do myself. Unfortunately though, I have a LOT of other things I need to tend to first. My work schedule is about to pick up in a major way so I doubt I''ll learn anytime soon. For the time being, I think I''ll have to stick to one of the pre-strung necklaces, but I do hope to learn someday. Thanks for thinking of me, and those would make GREAT Christmas presents!

No problemo! Can''t wait to see pics if you do get that other strand. Its gorgeous! We should really start a Pearllunar dictionary though.. for ex. rainbow=orient. For a minute, I was like, uhhh rainbow colored pearls? Like fruit loops?

Thanks for the tip JT! PowerPro...where do you get that? And it is white?

Do you use a threader too? I''ve bought them before, but they''re so super thin that they bend really easy and become unusable very quickly.

I have a couple of friends getting married soon, so I think I might give them pearls as presents. That, or maybe an engraved pendant. My friends know how much I love pearls though, and its what I get people often for Christmas/birthdays, so its kind of become my ''thing''. I like to share what I love, but I try to incorporate their personalities as well. For example, one of my best friends loves ''chunky'' jewelery and dangly earrings. So, I got her dangly earrings with two large drop pearls...so it would be a little bit of her, and a little bit of me. Another one of my friends is far more reserved, but enjoys matching and coordinating- so I got her a set of pearl studs in different colors. So far, I think they''ve all loved their pearls!

I bought these, along with a pair of 11mm dangles, and they are BEYOND STUNNING!!! I cannot believe the quality, heft, and beautiful even luster these pearls have. I''m currently contacting them and seeing about buying a bunch more for my daughter''s bffs for Christmas gifts. I''d also love a three strand bracelet made with these. The size and shape are perfect!

Great to know you like them, because I''m picking mine up tomorrow. Mine aren''t as big though.

I can''t wait to hear what you think of them!

I love them! It''s gonna be a little while before I can post pics though. Work''s busy right now!
