l1.30 ct aser drill old transitional round diamond? price?

I found this very nice G-H colour 1.30 old transitional round diamond, SI3 EGL certificate, the only thing that I don't like is that has been laser drilled the girdle is bruted? so how much will this affect the price? what is an reasonable price for it? can you guys advice ?

I'm still a super newby at old cuts, but I did just buy my first one, a 1.33ct. Do you have pictures? An EGL SI3 could very well not be eye clean...

I wouldn't buy a laser drilled diamond. Especially not for a ring. Maybe for earrings or a pendant.

You are absolutely entittled to purchase any kind of diamond you wish. My own opinion is I would not want a laser diamond and the sad part is its laser drilled and still graded Si3 which means many inclusions as EGL is much looser grading than GIA and AGS. You really need to see this under a loupe so you know what you are dealing with.

We at PS have all been through many situations with diamonds and I would rather you keep looking if you can.

With that said, I think you were smart to walk away from an EGL SI-3, it's probably the equivalent of a GIA I-2.
