Here is a necklace I just finished. 8mm and 5mm lapis beads with 14k gold wire/clasp.

WOW!

I love lapis, and I would own it, if it wasn't so hard to find. It's really difficult to source good lapis, these days, you are very lucky.

i think it's very classy and beautiful. :appl:

More pics :wavey:

I love this piece! Of all opaque stones, Lapis is probably the most elegant one, it has this look... reminds me of libraries with leather foliants and smell of good tobacco. :read:

I am with you, iLander - good lapis IS hard to find, although it is not impossible. I, too, am looking for a pair of lapis(es) for an inexpensive project, so if you come across something you do not plan to buy, give me a holler, will you?

Very reminiscent of Ancient Egyptian pieces, very nice!

Very nice work, Mr.soberguy. Also reminds me of how some of those necklaces at reinstein/ross are designed

Gorgoues hues! I just love lapis.

What a cool piece and design!

Classic, chic, elegant, love the necklace and really nice work. :appl:

Very pretty! I think we need to see a neck shot though!

I don't know what shape you are looking for, crasru, but sparklequest on etsy has pairs of lapis smooth drops, 8mm x 20mm.

Wow, I would like to see a closer photo of your link work, it's really well made. Lapis is one of my favorite gem, I have a couple of strands but I think they're reconstituted stones.
