Woah, that last one is huge lol..

I can''t seem to ''control'' how much fire comes off of the diamond.. I wish I could get perfect stars like yours Ellen!! Oh well, I guess the nuclear explosion will suffice..

Your ring is beautiful!

Holy CROW! That is a TON of fire!

K, throw me a bone here - I''ve tried a lot of the recommended "things" to acheive optimal photos...but I''ve Never been able to capture the fire that exists in real life! Are you doing anything special to get that on film?

Please share if you have any tips! and CONGRATS!! It''s stunning. Literally!

Ninama,
I love that photo.. my dog will let me do pretty much anything to her, she''s a ham. I got a few of my ring ontop of her head, and on her nose, but they came out too blurry or over exposed. I''ll have to try again tomorrow when I have time. I loooove your babies in your avatar, I just want to snuggle them!!

me lau,
I''m not doing anything terribly special.
When the sun is lower on the horizon and still visible (like the mornings, or early evenings) I tend to take the best photography. The sun is usually really nice around 9am, and around 5pm around here. I just look through my viewer, and turn my ring very, very slowly, when I see fire reflecting in the viewer, I snap the picture.

Outstanding. I''ll try some dawn/dusk shots. Maybe that''s it.
Do you use a tripod?

I didn''t use a tripod, but I would if I had one with me. Just make sure the sun is still visble, not ducking behind trees or clouds.. you want the diamond to reflect directly off the sun.

GREAT photos. I love them. And I love your ring, so happy you are thrilled with it after everything you went through to get it!

OH CURIO!

I love the photo shoot! Your ring is amazing!

That orchid is really lovely! If I only could get mine to bloom as wonderfully as your fathers!

My favorite pic is the one with your puppy and the ring! Adorable!

Fantastic pics. The one with the orchid looks like an ad from a high-end jewelry store.

drooooooooooooool

I am so-o-o-o-o loving these new pics. The fire shots are amazing and the one on the dark, maybe blue?, fabric...well, that one just pops off my screen, like 3-D. The ring is simply gorgeous!! I am so excited for you!!

Great fire pictures! My new camera seems to cut out all glare, so my days of getting fire shots are over. I''m so jealous.
