** Greetings ** (from my hideout in the Cardiac Conference Room) I hope they don't catch me.

Angello is such a trooper. He is recovering slowly. He's is getting a little help from the pacing wires; giving that heart a little extra firing help.

He's on some nice drugs to keep him calm and comfortable.
The staff here is superb. They really care about "our boy."
Tomorrow they might wean him off of the vent- and off other meds.

Thanks for the wonderful support- it's a godsend!!!

Nan just told me that they did and Echo cardiagram on Angello and it looked great. Also they are weaning him off some of his meds. There was an emergency with one of the other kids in the CICU so she had to leave for a bit. But sounds like everything is going very well. YAY!!!!

I''ve been away from PS for a couple of days so I am just checking in. I knew the surgery was this week though.

SO glad to hear that all is going well. I am sure that Nan is exhausted but sounds like he is through the worst of it. The good news too is that this is the last part of the procedure.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. . . I''ll be checking back for updates.

UPDATE: Nan just called and Angello is breathing a little bit on his own, YAY!!! And they turned off the pace line which is kind of like a pace maker, so that''s good news. And tomorrow they hope to get him off the ventilator. So he is doing very well.

Just talked to Nan and Angello is doing great and was sleeping soundly when she left the hospital. All is well and she is going home to get a good nights sleep. She said she really liked the nurse that was on the night shift, so it''s all good.
