UPDATE: Nan just called, she is on her way to the hospital. The nurses say he is doing well. The are going to turn down the vent a bit to see how he does. Maybe tomorrow they will get him off the ventilator, but he is so sedated it's tough to see how he would do. It's tricky. Nan can explain it much better. That's it for now. Things are good!!!

I was so happy to hear the great news tonight Nan. He is making steady progress indeed and am so happy for you both. Give him lots of kisses from me tomorrow and look forward to hearing more good news. I couldn''t be happier. He''s a fighter and am so glad that all is well. He will be home in not time!!!! I talked with Nan this morning and the nurses say he is doing just great. I will have more details when she calls me this afternoon. As a matter of fact Angello was watching the nurse like a hawk so he''s much more awake now.

Angello is doing well. He may be moved out of ICU and to the floor within the next couple of days.
He''s progressing steadily.
They have weaned down some meds and have removed some lines.
