Love love love @GliderPoss xant wait to see it finished. Love the username too
I have two tourmalines cut by Barry B that I purchased at different times and am thinking they would look nice together, set in a classic bypass style ring with the cushion cut stones kite set instead of the traditional square set. I haven‘t been able to find examples of a ring with the two stones set like this and am not sure how it will translate in real life.
What do you all think??
I just gotta tell you, these jump out at me as dangly December earrings, one red and one green.
Very pretty! Who is the vendor if you don’t mind sharing?
No preview vendor shots, huh?

@Pennyc I don't have any input but that is going to look incredible. I'm coming around to pinks and reds myself
I wasn't super sure about earrings and necklaces (I have a daily driver that I never take off) but I have to say i came around and now have a growing earring collection. That and I needed another band like a hole in the head, I mean what else do you do with little stones .
@2Neezers I loooove those tourmalines, I am partial to angular cuts and that cut is gorgeous and brings out the color brilliantly. I also love the idea of kite setting. I think it would look ahhhmazing. This isn't anywhere close to your shape but I was going for fluid for my tourm toi e moi.
stunning!!! I’m quite partial to this coloring in spinel the work looks impeccable.
Thank you, @Polished1911 It really is a beautiful stone and it's an IF clarity. So it has a watery cleanliness which is just lovely. I hope I can take some photos that capture the sparkle of the diamonds; they're a lovely quality and should perform beautifully.
Lovely, and some size! How are you going to set it? I have a notion for a bangle set with a large opal but I'm sure how the securing of the stone actually works/happens.
I’m in the process of turning my anniversary diamond (solitaire) into a three-stone ring... High Performance Diamonds will source a sapphire to go in the empty platinum solitaire setting. I scored this super fun ‘50’s ring wrap last year on Ruby Lane, and I think a sapphire will look gorgeous in the middle of this ring wrap! It’s baguettes and single cut diamonds.
Last year I had my local shop set a Finewater Gems garnet in a Stuller solstice solitaire, so you can get an idea of how a gemstone looks in the wrap. I’m excited!
That garnet is AMAZING - I want one just like it now! What kind of garnet is it? It is such a rich, reddish, purple color. Sooooo luscious
Vendor shot. This is beautiful workmanship

This is gorgeous I love spinels and this is a beautiful ring.
I love love this idea so versatile and that garnet has me thinking twice about scrolling past them
@GliderPoss hi! I have a similar opal too! Which jeweler are you going with? Rose Gold sounds yummy!!
