Let's Wear ALL of It!

For tomorrow, Wedgwood!
The big brooch and pendant were eBay finds.
All sterling.
The brooch was made in 1881, accounting to the mark on the back.

I love these!

Continuing on with the long unloved silver box...there was a time when I was so happy to again have the money to spend on any jewelry. These pieces brought me so much happiness.

Very pretty! I love that checkerboard cut.

I really don’t @stracci2000. I gave a lot of things away thru the years. When my nieces were teenagers if they saw something they liked that I didn’t wear I gave it to them.

Every time you post a cameo I’m reminded of a ring I saw 15 years ago in an antique store that I wished I had purchased.

For today:
An antique rolled gold bangle, a 10k signet ring, a 1930s diamond ring (about .25)
And my necklace made from Georgian pocket watch parts. I found this at an estate sale for $4. I had no idea what it was, except that I loved it. After researching, I found out that these are cocks from Georgian fusee pocket watches. In the closeup, the oval face may be George III.

This is NOT my watch, but I'm including this photo to show how these pieces appear in the watch.

Today my mother was looking for something in an old box of copper jewelry. This ring caught my eye immediately because it was gold.

My mother told me that it was my dad's wedding ring and she had no idea how it got there. Coincidentally, he passed away two years ago this past week and he would have turned 92 this week.

I never saw my dad wear nor thought he owned any jewelry. So I am thrilled to have something of his to wear.

Just hangin' around the house today with a big sterling spoon ring and a decorative chain.
The spoon is made by Wallace, and the pattern is Rose Point, made in 1934.

These OMCs are fabulous!
The sapphires especially intrigue me! You've shown them before, and I drool every time!

Thank you @stracci2000! They were an impulse buy for sure. Like I needed more antique earrings haha. In fact we saw them in the Spring of 2019, I drooled, balked at the cost and told Greg no I cannot do it. We left and we were not even home yet (2.5 hour trip away from my favorite antique jewelry shop) and I called them from the car and said I need them . So they wrapped them up and shipped them to me and I got them the next week (it was a Friday I believe). Anyway I don't regret it for a moment. They are gorgeous IRL with beautiful detail I cannot pick up in photos.

Unfortunately we aren't going cycling today but fortunately that means I can wear some of my jewelry
We are going to enjoy a hike instead and I am going to wear these beauties.

For tomorrow.
A single Mikimoto earring that I made into a pendant. I found this earring in a thrift store.
The Hanadama studs are from The Pearl Source.

How wonderful to give that single earing a new life

So ive had this for years (says the girl who says she isnt into hearts)
Its a South African stone i forget the name of
At some stage ive changed the clasp to a magnetic one (which came undone when i took my shirt off for a shower)
Anyway one day id like to have it on a gold bale on a string of white pearls with a couple of matching beads on either side
20211123_111225.jpgi had a matching brass (or copper?) braclete inlaid in the same stone but the stone got broken and chipped

The dury is now out on magnetic catches ???
