Have you thought about tone on tone? A shade or two darker purple would make the center stone stand out more and not distract from it. What kind of stone that would be, I haven't a clue.
I think you made a good choice. I love Daniel M and use him all the time for inexpensive projects, but the reality is that BGD's workmanship will be finer, and it sounds like this is a very special piece. Good luck!
I love the look with the mint green stones! But I think that going with white gold and colorless diamonds will be the most classic look, and easier to match with clothes. Think your wife has made the right choice.
Thanks for the confidence boost! I'm always worried about overpaying for jewelry especially because it's so hard to compare quality in online photos. Plus, I'm still very new to all of this.
The stone should be here tomorrow or Saturday so I'll post IRL pictures ASAP
I think you made the right choice as well! It's going to be so pretty.
And Caren typically does almost all of the correspondence part. I've only gotten emails from Dan when Caren was sick or when he was up late finishing things and had quick questions.
The mailman won't deliver signature packages to apartments so they just stick the "sorry we missed you" letter in the box. I'll post pictures of it soon! Then it's off to BGD.
Came today. To me, it seems way different than Gene's picture. Not in a bad way though, just different. My wife loves it and I used Gene's new coupon code thingy so it's a keeper
I don't find it to be lilac at all. I find that it changes colors. Outside it's most definitely purple with occasional pinkish flashes if viewed from an angle, inside it's pink. Here's a comparison shot.
Based on Gene's picture I thought it was going to be way more included but they are very hard to see. I was expecting crackly ruby status but to me it just looks like two feather like inclusions. It's untreated so I'm fine with it
