~I saw the same thing on People.com... it seems that Vanity Fair is not so good at interviewing at all. I remember back when Jennifer Aniston did an interview with them, she said that Vanity Fair made her seem like a crier, which wasn''t true at all. I think they should get their act together, or else a lot of celebs won''t trust them with interviews!!

It seems that the whole interview is on tape, so my guess is she said those things for sure. And she''s not suing the magazine for libel (or slander... forget which is which).

But if she wanted the world to know she had an eating disorder, wouldn''t she have just come out and said "yes, I''m bulimic," or "yes, I have an eating disorder," instead of merely being quoted in the article as making vague remarks like "I was making myself sick"? It sounds like VF couldn''t quite pin her down on having an eating disorder, so they used clever quotation marks to make it sound like she admitted to it, and of course the rumors start flying. Hmmm, it sure does make you want to go out and buy a copy of VF and read it for yourself. Pretty good marketing move on not only VF''s part, but also by Lohan.

Apparently her reps called up the magazine after the interview and asked them not to include the parts where she said she has used drugs and was bullimic, but the magazine refused. Seems like Lohan is just trying to cover her butt...

Well I must say that if she actually does have an eating disorder and is now denying that she ever admitted to it, I have lost any shred of respect I ever had for her. Certainly doesn''t make her a very good role model if she''s giving interviews on the topic and then denying it a few days later.

More size issues?

There are some people that will always be slight of build. But, LL & NR were more fully figured women at one point. The weight difference & dramactic shift of their body would think that they may have an eating disorder. If true, I hope at least they can seek help.

Star Jones is a big, fat (oops, I meant little, skinny) liar! She obviously had gastric bybass but isn''t a big enough woman to admit it......As far as this thread, it seems in our culture overly thin women & their eating disorders are more interesting than large women & their eating disorders. My bet is that the Dove soap ads featuring "full figure" models won''t be around long either.

In ways, I really feel sorry for these young women. What they are doing can''t be good for their bodies. At their age, they are still developing bone mass. They should eat healthy -- lots of nutritious foods with vitamins, calcium and protein. I would not like to be them when they are older with brittle bones and other health problems that will stem from these eating disorders.

Why is being a size zero the holy grail.

I also hate that my 12 1/2 year old daughter thinks she''s fat. She''s 5''2" 105lbs. She eats healthy foods most of the time. She hates fast food. Her weakness is chocolate and sweets.

So women like Lindsey Lohan, Nicole Ritchie, Hillary Duff... don''t make it easy for our adolescents.

My head is spinning. Now, in an article she admits to being hospitalized.

There was a picture of Nicole and Lindsay back in June/summer when they were photographed looking SOOOO thin with bones everywhere...and then it showed them now in bikini''s. Lindsay looks SO much better, she''s a bit more filled out again. She is also quoted as ''wanting my boobs back''. Nicole''s bikini picture was the one that was posted here of her looking very small but if you can believe it, she actually looks a little better in that picture than this original picture with Lindsay. So it seems like both gals are a little healthier looking which is a positive! I''ll try to scan in the article/pictures because it really does show how far they went originally.
