List of MMD / Laboratory Grown Diamond sellers

Thank you so much for asking!! I will email him.

No need to cut, it will be a part of a conceptual jewellery piece for a brand I'm working for. So we will use it rough =)
Ok. You should be fine then....

That sounds interesting!

Please do post pictures when/if you are able :))

Bummer I received an email that the stone was already sold but the inventory wasn’t updated. I’m guessing this is a new company that needs to work out its kinks.
It seems like Ve and Vile has put up the same diamond in their inventory. I took a look after the Founder emailed me about their new stock of fancy colors. The particular stone I tried to purchase with the same IGI report is back but listed at over 2k. I’m disappointed they didn’t just tell me it was incorrectly priced on the website when issuing me a refund, and said instead it was out of stock. While the new price for this stone is way overpriced there are very reasonable prices for larger blue diamonds. It’s too bad I don’t trust the store for now, and as it is, with larger purchases I’m inclined to purchase lab diamonds that are made in the states.

I think they (Ve and Vile) are just trying to get that database organized since this was a new area for them but it seems to be better now. Some of them are cheaper than the US and some are not. It depends on where they are coming from.

I bought two 1/2 carat modern rounds for a 3 stone ring project. This is not my main e-ring but I am working on a few colored stone projects with different budgets for each. The lab diamonds are a ‘J’ VS1 excellent cut. I wanted them warm because they are going in yellow gold with a lemon yellow tourmaline. Unfortunately, the post office broke the tip off my tourmaline so it has to get recut slightly to minimize the window or I will have to pick a new stone. Impressions are that the diamonds have a lot of fire. They look much nicer than an old pair of .50 carat each earrings that I have. A little warmer than a G solitaire pendant I have that is H&A

I don’t want to clog up this thread with a bunch of pics so I am going to include some imgur links. There are a lot of comparisons but not everyone sees a moissanite next to a lab diamond and mined diamond so I thought I would share those too.

Here is one of the cert’s. If I did it correctly, it scores a 1.2 on the HCA.

Stuller lists lab grown on their website.
Thanks for the heads-up!

https://www.stuller.com/lab-grown-diamonds/

Looks like a decent listing engine - pic/video, information, but no price unless you log in (which I'm not sure us mere consumers are able to do - but I've not tried so don't know for sure!)

Their ECs looked nicely cut in the videos I looked at :) but they weren't listing asschers, boooo :(

Also regarding Brilliant Earth...

With thanks to @kgizo for their excellent post in another thread on here :) :-

one can look at the Stuller MMD prices by going through LAD:

This is a screengrab of the Blue offerings, but they also have Lavender Pink, Coral Pink, and Peach:

The prices for bigger lab diamonds are pretty bad on stuller!

I am guessing that's because they grow more slowly after a certain size and to be colorless and less inclusions, it gets trickier. Hence producers who make them in bigger sizes price it such. It's easier in HPHT but not so much in CVD

check out their new collection -- they are going after 'stacking styles' like lightbox but it's a good design collection. If they market it well, it would be bring good sales in season

@bv_jewels no the prices are just plain to high there is cheaper prices to be found in higher carats :) but maybe they also just buy from the wrong source. I wouldn't buy a lab diamond that is more than 30-35% of rappaport price (if price is an issue).

I highly recommend https://www.1215diamonds.com/

I ended up returning the oval I purchased from them, but that was my pickiness. The return process was smooth and so fast! Had my refund within a few days. The customer service representative was always quick to respond and very helpful.

there are so many sight holders now entering LGD space aggressively ... wonder how would De Beers react

I got an email from Little Switzerland, the duty free store that seems to be at all the Caribbean islands, that they are now selling lab diamond jewelry.

Has anyone gotten a quote from someone that doesn't have a searchable online inventory that is close to the prices clean origin and great heights has? Those two seem to have similar inventories and prices, and I have yet to find a place that has lower prices.I hate to contact a bunch of jewelers for prices when they aren't likely to meet/match clean origin prices. I'd pay more for better cuts, but so far, the two places I've contacted have been significantly more expensive.

I am hopeful that at some point we (the consumer) will have an online search tool in the same style as the PS (Miined) Diamond search tool!

Like a brick and mortar store? They will always cost more than online vendors usually. Their overhead is much higher. 1215 Diamonds is online, but their prices are very competitive and Clean Origin is really well priced as well.

I have just seen 'Great Heights' mentioned, although the website does not work properly on my computer  and I have no idea about what they are like:

they seemed very similar to Clean Origin... wonder who is the company behind it

Websites can often be 'off the shelf' and adapted with minor changes, so it could be the case here. There is also the possibility that they (and others) could be using the same source(s) for inventory!

quite possibly.... But I like Clean Origin's prices and qualities

I am doing a 3 stone yellow tourmaline project with 2 lab grown diamond side stones that are each .50 carats. This is a European company but they also are selling lab grown diamonds to the US. They are going to be adding some of larger diamonds next week. I had been looking at a 4 carat cushion a few weeks ago. Very good prices and that is inclusive of the shipping costs to the US & IGI report. I believe they are all CVD lab grown.

I am also looking for a 4 carat, did you find anything??
