As probably one of the older LIW here on this board (I''m 36) it shocks me that so many posters in their 20''s are so worried about having babies already.
I think I must be jaded as I live/work in a big city and most of my gf''s are either still single or married w/o children yet...so my situation is more of the norm here than other places I suspect.
Anyway - as an older LIW all I have to say is yes, it gets harder to have babies in your 30''s but if you''re healthy it will be fine.
My 37 yo girlfriend just got married last Memorial Weekend, she and her DH thought it would take forever to conceive (he''s 45)..but they got pregnant on their honeymoon and voila had a baby right away. Faster than they had intended.
I guess all I wanted to say is that the world isn''t going to end if you have a baby later than what you had planned. Your body will still work at 35 or likely even at 37.
If I asked my other gf''s if they would have preferred to be married with kids younger, they would all likely say YES...however, it was far more important to them to find the right GUY and have a great permanant relationship than to focus on a child by a certain year. As long as you don''t marry someone without discussing kids, how many, etc....everything will work out when it was meant to work out.
And in the grand scheme of things, all will be well.
