Hi Everyone,

So, I've recently caught the gem bug! I'm thinking I would love a largish (2-3 ct) spinel, chrysoberyl or yellow sapphire. Not sure which yet. I'm thinking I will want to set this gym in a LOGR setting which I have seen some fabulous ones on here. So, I'm looking for some inspiration..Could those of you with LOGR settings with colored gemstones please post your rings! I would love to ogle and drool over them while planning my new project in the works Thanks ahead of time!!

Ive bought my mum a bunch of LOGR over the years - cant find many photos, just this one of an aquamarine and diamond ring - the ring is actually way nicer than the photo - plus i took this pic after she had worn it for a few days and i didnt clean it

lovemybling, LOGR stands for Lord of Gem Rings, it's an eBay store that sells diamond semi-mounts. Lots of PSers (including myself) have bought from them and are very pleased with the quality.

Here's mine, set with a Barry Bridgestock brownish pink tourmaline. The setting was customised to be two tone. The milgrained bezel eternity I'm wearing with it is also from LOGR.

I have two Spesses in LOGR. Both have upgraded diamonds and 18K gold.

Ooooo those spesses are gorg! Dandi Andi - I have been looking for that band in LOGR's ebay store and I cannot seem to find it. I emailed him to get a price quote and he still hasnt' gotten back to me. I really really want that band to stack with my others.

Wow Lauren! I definitely want a legacy setting with maybe a yellow sapphire or a red or blue spinel! How do you decide which to wear? do you match them with your outfits? Love it!!

I have a few LOGR settings - and in fact just got a new one (but I need to take pics).

Here are the old ones though.

14 kt. white gold baguette setting with a Barry Bridgestock aqua cushion




14 kt. rose gold baguette setting with a Dan Stair amethyst asscher


LOGR Legacies - from top to bottom - my mom's BB amethyst, my DS garnet, my mom's friend's BB tourmaline, and my Jeff White tourmaline. The top three are the 7x7 prong settings (but only the garnet is not modified for a different size), and the last one is the bezel 8x8 (but again modified for size of the stone). All are 14 kt. white gold.

Oh and here's the new one (unveiled on PS for the first time!). A 0.46 K VS2 (I think? Let me double check the stats later) BGD diamond in an LOGR halo, 14 kt. gold. It's very pretty IRL but the magnified view does show that the non-upgraded diamonds aren't that great. The center stone definitely outshines the setting though.

My pear isn't certified, but if I were to guess, I'd say that it's around SI2, and it's pretty good color, though I'm not sure I'd want to guess that.

I do have a few I've won on auction with less than desirable diamonds, though, so to be 100% safe, I'd definitely upgrade.

Also, quick question (sorry for bombarding ) but I just won an auction last night for LOGR baguette and round eternity and just wondering if his sizing is true to size. I ordered a 7.75, I'm a 7.25 but I MAJORLY swell and was wondering if he ran small if I should order an 8?

Kiki, sorry, I missed this question until now.

I have a horrible obsession with matching my clothes to my jewelry. If I don't have quite the right colour gemstone for a colour I wear often, I start searching for it. I'm pretty close to having everything I wanted, but I have some major gemstones of which I would like to have nice examples.

Kiki, congrats on winning an auction last night! I would say his sizing is pretty accurate. I'm a 5 on my right hand and I've ordered both a 5 and 5.25 from LOGR, and the 5.25 definitely spins and gets a bit top heavy.

The bezel eternity has been in his shop for a while, and quite a few of us have it. If you email him a picture of the ring I'm sure he could give you a quote, especially since you just won an auction.

I'd wait til it hits an auction, Kiki. I bought mine especially early, so I think I paid a hair over $100 for it on auction. Not sure you'll ever get that lucky, but it couldn't hurt to try.

HI Lizzyann, I hope Kiki doesn't mind the TJ.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of my pics were lost in the change over to PS 2.0. The split shank Jewelryhoo setting with the Peridot in it is a direct take on the Cartier Ballerine setting. The peridot is 3.45 ct. and right at 8.5 x 8.5mm IIRC. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics with the eternity band on PS, and in my digging through my pic file, I couldn't find one. Sorry I couldn't post one for you, but if I come across any I'll be back to the thread.
