Hey all, you really helped educate me about diamonds but I need help deciding between a few stones. I feel I know just enough where when I see something negative, i think its the end of the world, when i know it probably isn''t. These 3 stones are all within $100 of each other around $5500, I just need an outside look. I can''t post pics I know that makes it difficult for judging inclusions but will describe best as possible. Maybe there''s something I''ve missed between these.
Thanks.

#1 Round
Carat weight: 1.02 Cut: Ideal
Color: H Clarity: VS2
Certificate: GIA
Depth: 62.1%
Table: 54%
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Girdle: Medium to slightly thick
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 6.43*6.49*4.01
Crown Angle: 34.5°
Pavillion Angle: 40.8°
inclusions: has a feather right on the edge, that concerns me a lot

#2 Shape: Round
Carat weight: 1.02 Cut: Ideal
Color: H Clarity: VS1
Certificate: GIA
Depth: 62%
Table: 55%
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Very Good
Girdle: Thin to medium
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 6.45*6.49*4.01
Crown Angle: 34.5°
Pavillion Angle: 40.8°
Symmetry is very good as opposed to excellent (don''t know how much of a factor that should be)
inclusions: Has dark black crystal in center, IS EYE Clean, however its very apparent at 10X

#3 Shape: Round
Carat weight: 0.91 Cut: Ideal
Color: G Clarity: VVS2
Certificate: AGS
Depth: 61.9%
Table: 53.6%
Polish: Ideal
Symmetry: Ideal
Girdle: Thin to slightly thick
Culet: None
Fluorescence: Neglible
Measurements: 6.22*6.24*3.86
Crown Angle: 33.9°
Pavillion Angle: 40.8°
inclusions: couple of pinpoints, additional clouds not show (at VVS2 can''t be much of a factor, right?)

Yeah, I can sooo relate to turing blue over looking at diamonds! You have my sincere sympathy!

Well, number three is a good bit smaller than the other two, so I''d stay with a carat if it was me. Lless likely to have shrinkage soon!

With number 2 being a VS1, that inclusion shouldn''t be too much of a concern. I''d have to ask someone to look at the feather on number 1 if it is in-house. I would not order a stone with a feather than is not in-house. I''d prefer excellent on everything just for the heck of it. But if that feather is a potential problem, I''d take #2. It puzzles me a little, though, about he inclusion on #2 being very apparent at 10x because VS1 inclusions should be somewhat hard to see at 10x. Is it tiny?

well I''d narrow it down very quickly to 1 and 2 and go from there... I''d exclude #3 on several counts... of the top two it''s a tossup... one is VS1 and one has a smaller table... I like smaller tables but VS1 is quite fine and an invisible blob is an identifieer!!! I have an invisible blob in mine too but it''s clear and not black, regardless, with a loupe I know my stone!! that''s a good thing!

Both one and two look really promising based on numbers. H/VS2 is a great color clarity combo, so I''d be tempted to go with number 1. I think VVS2 and VS1 are a little clarity overkill and in my personal opinion it''s not worth it to pay for clarity differences you can''t see.
