@nielseel: Absolutely a hard egg to crack! LOL Speaking of eggs.. my husband seems to think any rounded elongated shape looks like an egg. So he will say "egg ring" to any marquise, oval or pear. I have no idea what shape is right for me or what I like most so I'm going down the list LOL

I love hearts for their uniqueness. Maybe one day I can add some heart detail to my ring Idk. I really do like ovals. There is a little voice in the back of my head that tells me they look too much like rounds for my taste or they don't have enough personality for me but it's a very little voice. The only shape I have left to try is radiant. I hope it works! If not I have no idea what I'm going to do.

I love the idea of a bezel but I don't know why it doesn't say "engagement ring" to me. I think it might be too modern looking for me. I love vintage looking rings and rings with character. But I get bored so solitaire is the way to go for me. That way I have options with different bands if need be. I have a reason to like and dislike every shape so it's makes the decision all the more difficult. I love the idea of a EW chubby marquise or oval. But if I'm going to have a longer shape I feel like I need to wear it the classic way to do the shape justice. IDK I'm a hot mess! I'm not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel yet but I have my fingers crossed! :) :)

haha then ok you should try a radient!!! I know you said your are sensitive to color, but have you considered a really low color stone? its different, but its still white enough to call itself not a "fancy yellow" or something

I have! But I don't think I would for a radiant shape. I saw a J color radiant and I didn't like it. It was too warm looking indoors. With a heart shape or oval I think I would consider it because it would give it character. Maybe a K would be nice. I'd have to see it in person. I thought diamonds in the center of the color scale were supposed to be yucky?

The radiant I'm considering is an excellent price. But it's an I1 so I'm having second thoughts. I don't really care that it has a feather I just wonder how obvious it will be to the naked eye. The diamond has an excellent cut so I'm hoping it will help mask the flaw. Maybe U should post a thread about it to see what people say on here? I have a feeling they don't like I1's on PS. :/

They love anything that is eye clean. Not a lot of clarity snobs here. BUT and I is something to worry about because that can mean the inclusion may cause mean steuctural issues. Id post it see what people think on a new thread

Will do! ;)
