Hello,

I've tried to read up as much as I can about these diamonds but I would very much like a second opinion.
The ring will be very similar to this one http://imgur.com/QcyfNxo and 0.51ct as as far as I can go in size.

Trying to navigate the nightmare that constitutes a good princess cut I think these two might be the best choices. No extremely thick girdles, the crown seems to be bigger than most I've encountered in that price range and table/depth ratio is within what many suggests.

What are your opinions? Should I ask for an inspection on these to see if they´re eye-clean and maybe an ASET imaging or what the other imaging was called.

Thank you in advance!

I think VS1 would almost definitely be eye clean, but it never hurts to ask. I think that you can even go for a thin girdle stone since you'll be putting it in a bezel setting and the edges won't get knocked around. It will put more of the carat weight on top and make the stone look bigger.

You don't have to ask with VS1. It will be eyeclean EVERY SINGLE TIME.

You don't want a thin girdle on a princess. Those sharp corners can chip while setting. And in a bezel. Or anywhere. You NEVER want a very thin on a princess though. That's just asking for trouble.

A thin girdle doesn't put all the carat weight of a diamond up top. It could put the carat weight anywhere.

As for how those princess are. You need an ASET image. Ask JA for them.

They will allow you three.

I would advise you think about these stones:
http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/princess-cut/0.50-carat-f-color-vs2-clarity-sku-278691 I really like how bright this one is. It will be eyeclean and the cloud on a VS2 will not affect brilliance.
