Whew! I think that''s it for the pics!

The trip out took a bit longer than I expected this morning (as did the trip back this afternoon, LOL!) but it was worth every minute in the car. As you all know Bill is just a doll and he let us have the run of the place. What a beautiful huge selection of settings and Blenheim and I tried them ALL on OVER AND OVER AND OVER!!! We also got to meet Bill''s mother, son, and his partners. Truly a wonderful bunch of people!

As for the photos. First let me apologize again for the weird green shirt. Won''t make the mistake again! Some of them are blurry (like that last batch of Jaffes) but I really wanted to show that set becuase it was so cool.

Mrs. S. - I tried to take better pics of the memoire bands but for some reason I had a hard time with them. Sorry for the lack of a two prong by itself. Seriously though the new one prong bands are WONDERFUL! I really hope you decide to go with that as your set.

Kcoursolle, Bling Diva and Cutey TT - I hope these photos are ok. I tried to get what I thought you would want to see. And belive me, these are just a sample. If you have the opportunity you really should go to Pearlman''s and see the selection if you''re really considering any of these lines.

Diamond Seeker - I hope this makes your choice easier! The Ritanis are all beautiful and I think you would be happy with any of them. (I did choose a favorite of the four but I don''t want to say becuase I don''t want to influence your decision!)

Old Fashioned Girl - the Jeff Cooper trellis setting is very very nice. The band is as wide as 2.8 mm by the stones and tapers to (I think) 2 mm in the back. I forgot to ask Bill for the size of the side stones--I''ve very sorry. I''m sure if you e-mailed him he could tell you.

Fire & Ice - Unfortunately Bill doesn''t have the "Life" pieces by Nouveau 1910 in the store, they''re only on his site. Too bad, I was looking forward to seeing those too.

Ellen - No luck with the earring jackets. We did see some studs that were larger diamond center with pave halos but that didn''t sound like what you were describing. Wish I had better news for you.

Did I forget anyone???

Let me just say again that Blenheim and I had such a good time today! I told Bill as we were leaving that I would love to accidentally get locked in the store over night and have to wile away the hours by occupying myself with what''s in the cases. WOW!!!

I think I need to go in search of food and comfy clothes at this point, but I''ll be back in a little while so let me know what you guys think.

Diamondseeker- I love the Ritani like the one you posted. so pretty and classic but with such a pretty profile for you to look at all day long. Love the ring with the wedding band too..

oh and i just adore the Michael b 3-sided pave..it has always been one of my all time favorites...

Oh, Mrs. S., thanks for reminding me! I totally forgot to mention my own setting (senility at 35 is a terrible thing, LOL... )

One of the lines that I specifically went to see was Michael Beaudry. What fantastic pices! There was not one specific setting but rather pieces of separate settings that I liked a lot. Since everything is custom I''m hopeful he could construct what I''m thinking of. I need to go through the site some more and look over different options but I am considering that probably more than anything at this point.

So there is *some* progress. (Thank you for asking!)

i LOVE the ritani that you are considering diamondseeker, that is definitely still my fave and after seeing those pictures, still the top choice! just love those ritanis and that one is so elegant with just a touch of sparkle in the head. nothing overdone.

dare i say that i am SO OVER the diamond encrusted pave settings like the Michael B and the Jaffe and some of the other ones that are in there? i'm so tired of looking at rows of pave.

and that MB 3 sided head? totally not appealing!! why don't they start paying attention to the heads on these expensive rings? ritani so has it right in that sense. that 3 stone Jaffe prong setting? those prongs are enormous...not in a good way. hehee.

i love the picture with all the memoire bands on the finger, DJ, that's amazing!!! i don't really like the look of the single prong, i do like how round the diamonds are but i could so never wear that ring, i'd always be freaking out...aren't the girdles exposed?

so DJ any decisions on your own setting?? thoughts? (eta i see you loved the beaudry line, it surely is stunning!)
