On my visit to see Sarah several years ago, I ended up spending several hours going through a couple of her "seconds" bags of Japanese kasumi, picking out a few pearls to buy. I love them so. Such fun. Since then I have gotten several Kasumi pendants, a Kasumi keshi necklace (a prize piece!), and a stunning Kasumi bracelet.
Something will catch your eye, I'm sure. Looking forward to seeing your report.
The day was perfect for the Bay Area and the traffic was bad so we were almost an hour late. Loved Sarah's new studio and all of her pearls. MZ and Sheri joined us for several hours with lots of ooohs and aahs.
We could hear laughter from inside as we got close to the door and we knocked....
Sarah opened the door and we all squealed like pearl pigs. Sorry again, fuzzy photo, we were so excited to get in the focus was not on our radar.
On the table in the lobby was small dishes of pearls. Here are some of the pearls. Sea of Cortez, Pastel freshwater ripple pearls, Strands of Tahitians.
