I really didn't know what to expect and I really don't know what to think. I didn't see anything in particular and it's a pitch black night like it often is in Hawaii.

Hmmmm, i dont know, i cant see it anyways, which sucks...i live in a super sunny place, most of the time. It usually happens like this too, something cool is going to happen in the sky, but i cant see if, because friggin clouds.

I woke up at 3:30am (baby called out for me) and by chance it was still going on...it was about 2/3s covered. I looked out of my bedroom window and there it was..right above me. I couldn't believe that the night was so clear and I was able to see it. Now my 2 daughters will be so angry I didn't wake them.

Very cool! We couldn't see it from our house. We planned to go to the park, but it seemed like a much better before the alarm went off in the middle of the night.
