Lunch with Skippy on Tuesday (details inside)

I thought it would be a good idea to put the Skippy GTG info in one place so we all know the plan. We''re meet at Grad Lux Cafe on Tuesday at 2:00. We''ll gather in the downstairs lobby area at the bottom of the escalators and then head up to be seated. I''ll give the hostess the name The Price Party in case anyone comes after we''ve gone up. Grand Lux is at 600 N. Michigan on the second floor above Ann Taylor (you have to enter around the corner on Ohio Street even though it is a Michigan Avenue address).

As of right now I think we''ve got JAS, Monnie, Catmom, (hopefully) Neatfreak and Haven -- who am I forgetting???

Here is the official "Lunch with Skippy" report!

Catmom, Jas, Skippy and I met at the Grand Lux (despite my bad instructions on how to get in -- thank you Ellen!!!). While we were waiting for our table to be set up some other people came into the lobby area and I thought, geez, that guy looks JUST LIKE Garry Holloway. Well it *WAS* Garry Holloway!!! He, Andrey (our beloved moderator) and Ling (Andrey's lovely wife) were there too! Garry and Andrey were on their way to the Vegas Show and had lunch with us before catching their flight.

Garry shared some photo taking tips (Dee hangs head in shame... I still can't quite master the "serviette half over the flash trick"... ) and we had a lively discussion about diamonds and pretty much everything else! Here are some shots of everyone's beautiful bling. (This first shot isn't the best but I like the juxtaposition of the hand with the glass and Garry in the background.
