I know that a lot of them are full of fakes, so if you know of a good MAC seller on ebay, post it here please!

I believe used makeup is not allowed on ebay.

I don''t buy collector''s items or hard to find colors, so it''s retail for me!

I have a MAC store near me but I know you can occasionally find good deals if you know where to look. My husband just told me I can buy makeup today if I find something I like so I''d really like some MAC!

I've sold tons of collector MAC items on eBay and have made a lot of money. The mineralized skin finishes were super popular for a while and I sold them for lots! Yah! People would email me asking if my items were real, as if I sat in the kitchen all day baking up skin finishes in my oven!

The best advice is be sure the item has a true color name (sometimes people use numbers rather than color names). Another thing is check the seller's feedback/history and make sure they didn't purchase an item and then realize it was fake and try and resell it OR check to see if a seller is buying stuff in bulk and then reselling items. One time I found a La Prairie item that I wanted and I looked at the seller's feedback and found that person had purchased ALL their La Praire inventory from Hong Kong. DON'T buy pigments on eBay as many of those are fake.

Do you have an outlet mall nearby you? If there is one, check to see if there is a Cosmetics Company Store there because they sell MAC items at 30% off (but they don't carry the entire line). Some of the items are LE items that you cannot find at the counters any longer.

Quick question - why not just pay full-price? I know cosmetics can be expensive, but I'd rather have a few less lipglosses and know the ones I have are authentic and untested!

If you're finding something on eBay you must have, you can post on www.makeupalley.com and ask them for opinions re: if an item appears to be real. The women there may also be able to recommend a trustworthy seller.

I could only wish!

I don''t mind paying full price, I do have some I bought in-store and it was sure nice to have it right away as opposed to waiting for shipping. I''m just always looking for a deal hehe.

Aren''t we all looking for a deal? I just won an auction for a Philosophy 3-in-1 that no longer is made and got it for 1/2 of retail! The little things that make us happy, right?
