Marking on an earring

Hi PSers,

I’m not sure this is the right forum so please move, if needed.

I found a pair of earrings that say 14k, but I can’t tell what the stamp says on the earring.

If anyone knows, please let me know as I’m having a tough time reading it.

If you're talking about the 585, that's 14k (which is 58.5% gold). I'm guessing the symbol in front is some kind of maker's mark.

I didn’t know if that was 580 or even what it meant. Now I know.
I’ve never seen gold earrings wear like that so I wanted to ask. I think they need a good cleaning and polish and they’ll be in much better shape.
