color is not supremely accurate on my monitor to what I see, but it’s close and did I mention it’s moody? pics zone the colors in some shots more than the eye sees as zones.


id love to side by side compare this to the Pad Enhoerning has.......but im sure tears would be involved

Do you like it? I think it is a pretty color. Very moody/shifty though.

Yes- very shifty! I don’t think I’ll have an opportunity for a honest to goodness stunning pad and actually kept thinking about an AIGS report pad I returned last year, this is kinda similar but with no huge window. It sometimes is a bit underwhelming, but I don’t think it goes ugly. It really is hard to describe and harder to get a pic that looks the exact same as I see.

It does blend in to my skin at times but I think a substantial halo can help that out. (Hello pears and rounds!)

Blue zircon. I missed out on a nice, big roval they had and have been stalking their website ever since.

Went to a local jeweler, but they didn’t seem to know enough about the gems (durability in particular) to inspire confidence in designing something with them. First I want to set the oval peridot as a RHR. But the zircon keeps calling....

I had purchased a teal sapphire during the sale but sent it back and bought a pink tourmaline just before the sale ended, which I was quite pleased with. It has some inclusions, but I don't find them distracting and the cutting is nice. The stone is quite bright and holds its color well.

I had DanM set it in a Continuum silver/rose gold pendant as a gift for someone close to me. I like how it turned out.

The gems I got from this sale are both back from setting!







I wish I had a good picture of my ring in sunlight but in the week I've had it, it hasn't been sunny a single time, and I've gotten impatient. I'm really in love with them both, super happy that I got them!

I am delighted to be able to add my own gem to this thread! This is my very first color stone. I fell in love with Mastercut Gems 1.05 carat heat only light/medium blue sapphire from Sri Lanka. The color and the sparkle are what I love. It is almost 6mm, and I plan to set it in a semi-mount white gold halo with diamonds. I was wearing a sweater that was a similar color today, so I felt inspired to take some pictures. It really is lovely.
