Lots of pretty stuff and by the time I saw this at 10:14, it was gone ;(
1_252.jpg I hope a PSr got it!!!!

Yup, that is a nice one. I saw it, was excited, then saw it was sold...that's life!

I bought this :appl:

Subscribed to their newsletter now.

However, due to time zone differences being based in UK, I normally miss out on promotions from vendors in the US, boo hoo!

DK :))

Of what's still available I'm a fan of the 5ct aqua and the 3.5ct tormaline lot :praise:

Nice ammy and zircon you got there.

Lots of pretty things! I would have loved to buy this sapphire but just spent all my money on season passes to an amusement park close by.
I really want something that is tri-colored or a color changer like this or the purple trillion sapphire he had for sale. Have to start saving again.

We're pretty heartbroken over that tricolor sapphire, as well. Guess 12.30 is waaay too late because every stone I was interested was gone already. Likely for the best as I really need to get some projects done before starting another - still I know we could have made a quick exception for a nice tricolor pendant... I hope we get to see that one set!

I'm with you, Wordie, as I thought that little pink spinel was a good value. :)) (and no, I did not get anything, nor did I even try!)

I didn't intend to buy anything -- I've GOT to set a bushel of stones. Have been a good girl in resisting temptation for ages...but could not leave this behind:

$200 is too good a price to pass up, 2.39 cts, 9 x 7 x 4.9. My first (& only forever, probably) emerald. =)

All the nice stuff are already sold. I hope to see new threads on everyone's new hauls.

I was so tempted by this! It came up right after I paid for the zircon and I limited myself to a $300 budget, the zircon was $280. Can't wait to see this set :))

Hey, Woofmama, I wanted that zircon! How funny. It grabbed me right away, then I saw it was sold. Great buy for both of us -- maybe we can trade rings when we get them set, just for fun!

I love the gems pictured in this thread! Dana's sales are so fun but the good stuff goes fast...that zircon, the spinel, and that emerald cab all stood out to me. I'm not in the least bit surprised that they're all off to new homes :) I hope everyone enjoys their goodies.

These are what I got, I'll post pics when I get them.

Xrisus, that tourm has such interesting color. I'm looking forward to your photos of it.

I'm game! A trade could be fun :sun: Your emerald will make a killer ring! Do you have setting ideas for it?
I'm not sure what to do with the zircon. I love the color. I'm thinking YG, no halo, maybe bezeled.

Ha, I wanted the pink-red spinel and the round blue zircon! Lovely stones, ladies!

Have any of you received an email from Dana about your purchase yet? I think I managed to get the light blue sapphire pair but haven't heard anything since the sale so a little worried I might get a refund and someone else got them. Would be exciting for me since they'd be my first blue sapphires!

Oh nevermind I just got an email from Dana! They'll be on their way tomorrow yay :D

Elyxia, glad yours is on the way. I haven't heard from Dana. As of last night the emerald was not marked Sold, so I emailed him. This a.m. it does say Sold but I haven't had word to whom. :errrr:

Woofmama, definitely yellow or rose gold, I'd say. Bezeling might work great but you won't know for sure till you have it in your own personal paw. I would love to halo that emerald with good-sized diamonds, but don't think my wallet will stretch that far. Last night on Antiques Roadshow a woman brought in the MOST beautiful cab jadeite ring with a halo of nice bigger-than-usual diamonds; it was just gorgeous. I thought, AHA! Need somebody to pay for it, though!

Rachelle said they were packing and shipping yesterday. So you might not even hear from them, and just come home to a lovely surprise in the mail :)

Xrisus: I love the look of your two stones, great grey and green. What are they? Especially love that grey.

Laurie: I hope you are it's new owner! I love the idea of a halo around the cab. I am not a halo person but can appreciate all of the gorgeous ones posted on PS. I would make an exception for a cab, they look smashing in a halo :sun:
I love Antiques Roadshow. Missed it last night.

As for my zircon, I love the idea of YG, but perhaps it will be RG.

I received the tourmalines in the mail today, the smaller one sure does have interesting coloring. Zones of grey, pink, and greyish blue...I like it! I would say that as usual, Dana's pictures were very accurate.

Beauties! RTF & Xrisus, you both snagged some interesting colors all in one stone each. Xrisus, I can't decide which of your tourms I like better. The green one is just delicious but the other has such interest & personality, and I like the cut a lot.

RTF, can you take more pics? Those came out so big, it's hard to tell what they actually look like. I'd love to see them better!

Sorry about that JF, tried something different that turned out meh

These better?

Accidentally pressed release too fast - either readjusting or getting out of the way - but the flash shows the blue a bit, so thought it was a neat shot.

Bahh I think my wallet cries a little every time I look at PS :-(

I'm super tempted by the lot of merelani mints, but can't figure out how I'd use that many garnets...

Anyone want to send me encouraging ideas? :D
